The third movement of the Carment Suite No. 1 by Georges Bizet is called Aragonaise.
Aragonaise means "dance of Aragon", a region in Spain.
It is the prelude for the Act IV of opera, Carmen, by Georges Bizet himself.

The Act IV of the opera Carmen is the climax of the opera. It is the last act of the entire opera, and it is also where the clash between two of main characters happen and end in the saddest way.

Bizet wrote this prelude to the Act IV to be very sharp and energetic. It has very strong percussion section, and throughout the piece, it maintains this sharp rhythm. It is because Act IV of the Carmen starts with the Escamillo, the Toreador, entering the area for the bull fight. However, Bizet ended the prelude quietly. This could be because the ending of the opera is not bright moment, compare to the moment when the Toreador enters the area. It could be interpretated as Bizet sort of revealed how this opera is going to end in the prelude of the last act.

That is it for the Carment Suite No. 1 III. Aragonaise by Bizet.
